Last night was one of those dark nights when tears filled my pillow. I went to bed feeling sick and discouraged. I found myself asking, "Heavenly Father, where are you?" I've always known He's been there, but sometimes life gets too dark to see His light. I was surprised this morning. I was half way inbetween sleep and awake. The words just came. ALl of a sudden I had the first page of my book. I've been trying to figure out how to write it for a long time. It was like the morning light dispelled the dark night and my discouragement. Heavenly Father didn't take away my problems. I'm still sick, my husband is still looking for a job, but He took away the darkness. He helped inspire me, reminding me that He is there, and has always been there. This morning I can see Him. His love is in the light.
Check out my first page, feel free to comment on it. -Day
The Crazy Old Woman

"Whatever you did to me, undo it," I said.
"I don't know if you can hear enough," the crazy old woman said.
"I can. I can."
"Tell me what you've heard since yesterday."
"Neema, my younger sister, bossing me around," I said.
"Is that all?"
"Um..."
"You're still deaf," the old woman said.
"Wait. I heard a tune, in a dream, from a family in Tamose. They were invaded by Sanath. But it was only a dream."
"Are you sure it was only a dream?"
"I don't know. I..."
The old woman touched my forehead again. I jerked my body back. "Don't do anything to me again--just restore my vision."
"I don't know if you're ready. It'll be a different world for you when you see again."
"I am ready," I said.
